They Found Them: Uncounted Ballots in King County

Looks like King County has found over 500 wrongly discarded votes in the Governor's race, apparently enough to swing the election to Gregoire. It's small comfort for the disaster of the 2000 presidential election and we're likely to see some moral gymnastics on the part of the Republicans, but it's something.

This is why we do recounts. Errors like this get lost in the noise of most elections, but when elections are this close, it's important to slow down and have time to carefully review all the ballots.

I won't hold my breath for an apology from Chris Vance and all the Republicans who urged Chris Gregiore to concede to "spare us" from a recount. But an apology is exactly what all of these folks should offer -- to each and every one of the 561 voters whose rights they were ready to trample on in their rush to install Dino in the Governor's mansion.

Looks like fraud wins the election!!! Look, I just pulled some more votes out of my a$$. I think we should count them. What a crime. People should go to jail for this one. If there was a revote in February Rossi would win handily because Chris has shown here true colors. Many dems like myself fed up with the crap our party pulls to ensure victories. No more, I will no longer support the party with my labor or my $$$

You sound like a troll to me. The ballots that were found were in their security envelopes with valid signatures. Seems pretty secure to me. Nobody has actually come forward with any evidence -- or even a specific allegation -- of any crime or fraud taking place. So far, there's been just a lot of hot air and baseless accusations from "Chairman" Chris Vance, hot air that only started blowing after it became clear that Rossi was going to lose.

I seriously doubt that a real Democrat would "walk from the party" because Chris Gregoire and her team had the... well, balls... to stand up to Chris Vance's infernal noise machine.

Maybe you should get your facts straight -- and your mouth washed out with soap -- before posting here again.
