Next Time It's a Crime

Representative Geoff Simpson (D-47), one of the Postcard Seven, whose constiuents received those slimy sex offender postcards, has introduced a bill to make it a Class C felony to send out phony notifications.  The bill has 3 Republican co-sponsors and will receive a hearing in the Criminal Justice and Corrections Committee this afternoon.  Odds are it will pass.

If you want more information or want to track the progess of the bill (or any other bill), the legislature provides a nifty on-line way to do that.
