Elections Have Consequences

...and if you're a Democrat who supports the Republican party, like Washington State Senator Tim Sheldon, you can be sure that one consequence of a 32-17 Democratic advantage in the State Senate is that you're going to be totally marginalized.  Like you deserve to be.

And, Tim, it's not the "price you pay for being independent."  It's the price you pay for supporting Republicans like Dino Rossi and George Bush.

Indeed. Independence I can respect. Chairing "Democrats for Bush" I can't.

Tim who?

You forgot to mention Tim's being the lone "D" on the board of Rossi's fake 501 C-3 Forward (read backward)Washington.

Also, while it is true that Tim has NO respect from fellow senators and has no effect on debate or the content of legislation, he is from a needy district and the Gov along with both houses are spending a ton of money there, aimed mostly at clean up of Hood Canal. In the end Tim will claim both as a senator and County commissioner that he made all that happen. That is a crock but investing in Hood Canal is the right thing to do and the real D's have not let the politics of Tim get in the way.
